Cheer Camp 2012

   Cheer Camp ended today. It was 3 frustrating/fun filled days. Weber State came and taught the camp. It was really fun but it was hard too. We learned a ton of dances, stunts and cheers. It was a lot to keep in your head. There were moments where I think we all wanted to kill each other but the rest was super fun. We grew really close as a squad these past three days.

   For me at least, camp started Sunday night. I did my nails (of coarse), got my outfits ready as well as planned the outfits for the other girls. Planned what bows we were going to wear and planned the hair. Camp officially started Monday at 8:00 a.m. and went till 6:00 p.m. Then we went to my house and made really cute shirts that you can see how to make HERE. Girls stayed until about 10:30 and then I crashed.

   The second day was kind of a blur. We pounded our stunts and routines for the 6+ hours we were there. Then we went to the homeless shelter and performed for the kids there. It was an amazing experience. The kids were so happy to see us and kept wanting us to do more. At first we were just going to do a simple cheer but we ended up doing a whole routine. Then they told us to do "our tricks" so all the girls whipped out their tumbling skills. Since I suck at tumbling I showed the kids my flexibility. It was so fun to talk to the kids. After that we went to dinner.

    The third day was a review day and then we performed for our parents and the WSU cheerleaders came and did a routine for us.

    After the performance we went to a park to have lunch and our coach had us make name tags for our bags. Now all we have left is a photo shoot tomorrow and then one of the girls is having a big party that we will all most likely be at so.... yeah, what a week right:)
